The file you upload is sent to our server and from there to the reading service, and the reading is sent back to your browser. Neither the file nor the reading is stored by us or written to our logs. Limits you type on that page are compared in your browser and are not sent to us.

To keep the free check from being misused we count how many files an internet address has sent in the last minute and day. For an IPv6 address we keep only its network part. These counts are deleted after two days. A bot check by Cloudflare (Turnstile) runs on the page.

We store what you give us: company name, your name, email address, a hash of your password (never the password), the date you accepted the terms and the internet address you did it from.

We store the PDF files you upload, the readings made from them, the heat register built from those readings and the limits you save, until you delete them. We keep a log of actions in the account (upload, delete, log in, log out) that holds no certificate content and no file names.

• Anthropic reads each uploaded PDF on our behalf through its programming interface. Under its commercial terms, files sent this way are not used to train its models. The file is sent together with our reading instructions and nothing else: no account details and no other customer's data.
• Cloudflare hosts the service, the database and the stored files (in its European Union storage jurisdiction), sends our emails and runs the bot check.

We do not sell data, show advertising in the service, or use your certificates for anything other than providing the service to you.

One cookie keeps you logged in. It is set only when you log in, cannot be read by scripts, and is not used for tracking. The bot check may set its own cookie on the free check page.

Each account's files and readings are separated from every other account's. Stored files are served only to their own account, as downloads. Passwords are stored as hashes. Repeated wrong passwords lock the address for a short time. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at once if you believe your account has been used by someone else.

You can delete any file, with its readings and heats, from the file's page; it is removed from our database and storage at once. To close an account and delete everything in it, write to us from the account's email address. Usage counts are deleted after about three months; expired password-reset links after a day.

You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and complain to us at the address above. Depending on where you are, you may also complain to your data protection authority.
